Students will be provided with opportunities in church worship teams, discipleship, outreaches, home groups, other congregations and more.
Home groups
Each student will be placed in a home group to enable him/her to participate fully in the life of the church body. Involvement will provide a further means of receiving care and input beyond that available through the faculty. Furthermore, the student will be mandated to pass on to the group the revelation he/she is receiving, and to provoke others in their understanding and practice of worship.
Church Worship Teams
Students who show a high level of spiritual and musical maturity may be asked to join a worship team that serves the church body. Such involvement will include regular practices and playing and/or singing in church meetings.
Sunday Involvement
Students will be delegated to one of the three LLCC churches and will be required to attend weekly as part of the course. Students will be asked to serve in the context of our regular church meetings. Possible areas include assisting in sound engineering, ushering, power point, children’s church, and youth work.
Discipleship
Each student will be mentored by a recognized leader in Living Light Christian Church who will regularly meet with him/her. Their role will be to encourage the student in all areas of life, including the practical outworking of what he/she is learning from the program.
Other Congregations/Organizations
As the reputation of the school grows, we are increasingly requested to help other church congregations, in Kenosha and beyond, with praise and worship. We are also invited to perform at Christian and secular events and venues. Therefore students are occasionally sent to minister into these situations, leading worship or playing/singing in a variety of different contexts.
Outreaches
There will be evangelistic outreaches, involving praise and worship and/or musical performances by bands or individuals. Students will be an integral part of these special events.
